Fit the Galassia push button housing into the cistern lid and secure with
the washer and backnut, aligning the ratchet bar slots left and right
Make sure the flush valve is in place Properly in the Cistern
and the the cistern lid secured onto the cistern.
Whilst holding the Top of the Push button Gently screw this onto the Top of the Flush Valve through the Hole on the Cistern Lid until all the thread is gone in

The Geberit Type 280 flush valve (often found in 2001-2016 cisterns) is commonly replaced by the newer Geberit Type 290 or the 282. 350.KD.1 kit, which fits the existing basket without removing the cistern. The replacement involves twisting the old valve to remove it, replacing the 63mm base gasket (816.418.00.1), and clicking the new valve into place
